I'll refute another con:

"Programmed Injection / D-Jet manifold:
CON: Expensive (in time or money or both) to install even on a D-Jet
equiped car. It still won't have quite the throttle response of a
DCOE style manifold.
PRO: Ideal running performance on all motors."

Megasquirt is pretty cheap to install on a D-Jet car. You need a new (junkyard) throttle switch, a new (junkyard) fuel pressure regulator and a Megasquirt controller (~$250, built and tested or $100-ish if you have the skills and patience (and time) to build it yourself). The fuel pump, fuel system, injectors, air, and coolant temp sensors can all be reused. The wiring is a bit tricky, but not terribly involved or time consuming - just label your wiring loom well before approaching the car and take it one wire at a time.

After it is running the fuel, it is relatively easy to get it running the spark too.

Maybe around $350 or so to add to a D-Jet car? Not pocket change, but pretty cheap when compared to buying carburettors. Maybe a little more if you use some nice prebuilt components such as this slick D-jet to MS wiring harness: http://1800philes.com/mkit2.html
