Thinking about getting a 68' 145S, what should I be thinking about 140-160 1968

Sounds to me like you'd be a natural at 140 ownership. Oh sure, there's a learning curve, but they are amongst the easiest to work on, and critical running parts are readily available for the most part.

Hard to find parts will be the non-critical stuff.. mostly interior stuff.

Biggest issue would be rust. Check it thoroughly. If body and interior are decent, go for it. You'll have fun sorting whatever mechanical stuff there is that needs to be done.

Them damn vent window latches... that's the biggest pain. Front and rear on a '68 wagon.

If you thought your 240 could turn a tight U-turn, you'll be amazed by the turning circle of that 145.

Post pics if/when you get it!
