Thinking about getting a 68' 145S, what should I be thinking about 140-160 1968

A sweetheart, that's the word I wanted to use. That's exactly what it felt like.

I was also very confused by those chrome flares/tale fins. They owner said they'd been on since he had the car, and that he surmised they were designed to keep water and splash off the rear window? He liked them enough to leave them on. I'd remove them myself, but each one has 3 holes right into the sheet metal. Doh! I'm guessing they were some sort of after market addition.

I think I have to call the guy and make an offer on the car. Stay tuned!
