Thinking about getting a 68' 145S, what should I be thinking about 140-160 1968

I think that's exactly what those things are for... snow and dust really collect on rear wagon windows, and those change the airflow. No biggie removing them though, patching the holes and covering with touch up paint.

as a bit of base line.. a pretty nice white '70 wagon went on ebay recently for about $2100 as I recall.

I had (wish I still did) a sweet '71 in nearly perfect original condition with just a tad over 100k miles.. I got a deal on it for $600... traded to a friend, who later sold it. He got about the same... a bit over $2k. I think it was actually a bit nicer than what you are looking at, but it was also a few years ago...

So I think anywhere twixt $2-3k would be a fair price. A bargain if less, and it might be worth more. It's worth whatever it's worth to you.
