Thinking about getting a 68' 145S, what should I be thinking about 140-160 1968

You will enjoy the life out of that car and you'll wonder why it took you so long to get behind the wheel of one. I drove my SU 122 35K in a year and a half and all I had to do was make sure the ATF in the well was full. As far as 140s go I think they are quite under appreciated not as Volvos but in terms of automobiles go. As much as I dislike cliches old Volvos truly are the practical classics because they can be daily drivers and keep up with today's cars, and I don't care what anybody says, can't convince me otherwise.
