What's with FCP lately?

I'm not trying to start a "rant" thread, but I hear rumors that other have been having similar problems. Strings of "isolated" problems usually indicate more serious issues.

They offer discounts and free shipping out the wazoo, but I've begun to experience problems with incorrect parts being shipped, poor quality substitute parts (not what I ordered), dropped-balls on return shipping labels, items listed as fitting in the parts catalog (which don't actually fit once you receive them), gasket kits that are missing key gaskets, inexplicable delays in shipping, partial refunds for returned items, as well as customer credits that don't actually show up on my account.

To be fair, FCP has tried to make good on several of these problems, but the number tick-marks in the "PITA Problem" column is growing and I'm close to blowing these guys off for good.

I think two or three people were burned by the GMB/URO timing belt tensioner substitution surprise.

I'm trying to assess if I'm just very unlucky or if I should entirely stop buying parts from these guys.

Anyone care to weigh in?
