I learned about FCP from this board a number of years ago. I used them for 5+ years without incident. But then items came with damaged packaging or in the case of my last order with the packaging in an entirely different area of the shipping box than the item itself. I called and sent pictures and was told there was nothing wrong with the item. I also had a problem with the coupon code they gave me by e-mail. I wrote in with my complaints, but did not get a response, which pretty much sealed the deal for me. The very last order I placed with them I had trouble fitting the part onto the car. When I called for assistance, they sent me to the remanufacturer. They were surprised I was calling them but told me I had everything I needed. I wound up getting help at my local Napa for no charge.
I have stopped using FCP entirely because I am not willing to put up with that type of service. I recommend IPD, autopartswarehouse.com (also known as usautoparts.com), rockauto.com or your local Volvo dealer. I have found the local dealer to offer some genuine parts not available online, thus, worth paying the extra cost for. And the dealer is sometimes competitive given the cost and delays of shipping.
FCP may be a perfectly ok company to order parts from, but the quality of packaging and service can most certainly be obtained through other retailers.
