What's with FCP lately?

In my last major volvo maintenance cycle, I went with FCP for every order.
And then they started to screw up and end me the wrong stuff, or were inexplicably slow to ship, or sent me the wrong stuff, or sent me junk instead of the quality parts I actually paid for. Then they simply started shipped me the completely wrong stuff.

Every try get the right part after they've screwed up and send you the wrong parts? That is, *they* screwed up. It's nothing that you did (except give them your business) and you are already inconvenienced.

To "fix it", they want to you to order the parts again, pay for it again, and then you get to ship the wrong parts back to get a credit.

They screw up. You get the delay. You get to pay for it again so they can fix their mistake. How is that customer service? How is that good service at all?

I used to be proud to send my business to these guys. Something happened. They ceased to be quality, and they ceased to provide anything better than free shipping.

I'm not the only one to have these problems by any means. I just want to know when it started and if it means I should categorically exclude these guys from all my future purchases.

I drive Volvos. In fact, I *only* drive Volvos. I recognize quality design and engineering. Volvos are not about cheapo parts and Wal-mart style service. I choose Volvo (and I'd like to think others do as well) because we care about more than the cheapest anything.

Does FCP measure up?
