If the head is always going to be stock + you are going to use the B18B/B20B 'C' cam, then I would pick the B18 due to better MPG & they like to rev a little better, however, if you want to upgrade it later with add-ons such as one of John Parkers heads, I would get any early B20 to overhaul & use the IPD/Isky torque cam & bolt on one of Parkers heads later.
