Effect of Low Compression on MPG 700 1989

Hi Graham,

I think that replacing the head gasket in conjunction with a good valve job (seals, guides, head straightness checked, valves ground or lapped if needed) will give you a long lived solution to the compression problem. The give away is the two adjacent cylinders matching in compression. Human error could account for a 20 psi difference in reading, but not two adjacent cylinders sharing a common reading.
