SU performance tuning... 1800

1. Temps, I don't/didn't know if the place I dynoed my car takes that into account... Do they Phil? You were dynoed at Torquefreaks too right? Actually, now looking at it, I see that it says CF: SAE Smoothing 5. So that takes into account the humidity and temperature and stuff like that?

2. Timing, I can't play with my distributor's advance curve, so yes, I'm just talking about my static timing setting of 17 degrees advanced at 1krpm. So yeah, we'll see what the dyno says about where I start my static timing for my engine to work with...

3. I know things that work on one engine don't necessarily work on another. I just read over the article again and noticed that they did indeed have an IPD SP cam, I didn't notice that before. Then there are a couple of other little things... That I guess would add up to making it different enough... :-\

4. Thanks, I'll be looking into that.

5. Yeah...

Thanks! =D Much appreciated. Any more thoughts, or experiences? What engines/setups have you been playing with SUs on?
