SU performance tuning... 1800

When I said that " full advance should be in by 3000 rpm" I did not mean that
was the way the timing curve should be setup, only that most Volvo distributors are set up that way.

If you have a theory, test it and see if it is right.
What "is", is more important than what "should be".

Frankly I have no idea why the advance curve on these distributors is like it is.
But remember that everything in the auto manufacturing world is a compromise between various different types of performance criteria and price.
