That's a fact Phil. The Volvo Green Book on the B23 engines permits an imbalance of up to 30 grams between piston and rod assemblies. Honda and Toyota engineers are probably still laughing over that one. I got my B23 down to a 5 gram variation and it transformed the engine - smooth and vibration free compared to stock - no Honda, but better than Volvo intended.
