Hey, engine builders, I need some guidance. 120-130 1966

"Do you think that the guy who told you .013” for the exhausts was running his cam straight up, or had he advanced it too?"

If I have my cams straight, the .013" advice would have been from the guy that told me the engine had D cam, when it was actually the flat VV71.

"When you say 42/0, I’m guessing that’s at .050” at the lobe."

No, but there is a rule that would make it illegal to leave it out... the infamous boilerplate rule... if it doesn't say "yes", it means "no". And nowhere does it say "yes" to leaving engine parts on the bench.
