De-tuning a B18 444-544

Erling,
Thanks very much for the translation, you've saved me a tremendous amount of time. May I impose further? Don't be frightened, I'm not going to ask you to translate the whole thing, but you've followed the discussion here, so you have a pretty good idea of what the information is that I'm stumbling around trying to find. If you see anything else in the article that might give me a relevant insight, or get me closer to an answer to the questions I'm nagging Phil with, I would very much appreciate your translating those bits for me.

Yes, I've heard from Niklas, but basically his reply was that he's no mechanic and that, therefore, he's unable to answer my questions, but that he had forwarded them to someone here in the U.S. who might be able to. As it turns out, that is the same person I turned to in the first place, but he's a pretty busy guy, and I haven't heard from him yet. Niklas did give me a link to his website. That's how I found the guy in Holland - I can ask questions in Dutch a lot better than I can in Swedish ;-). But I'll be going back to it to do some more digging.
Do you by any chance know if Volvo in Sweden has a room with dusty archives where some old geezers with half-moon glasses, long beards, and hair growing out of their ears putter around finding answers to questions from old Volvo nuts around the world about their cars and, maybe, tractors?
BTW, yes, that looks like the manifold I'll be looking for.
Thanks again,
Bob S.
