De-tuning a B18 444-544

The Mother Earth News had several articles on making your own gen set many years ago. They based theirs on a Pinto engine.

One feature I liked was running the cooant (water) to a holding tank, to supply or augment the household hot water. You could run your coolant (with antifreeze) through a heat exchanger and end up recovering a lot of that heat while also keeping any contaminants out of the water.
